Will Smith stars as a teenager from inner city Philadelphia who's sent to California to live in with his wealthy relatives in the hopes that they will "straighten him out and teach him some good old-fashioned values," but Will soon takes his rightful place as The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Will's Aunt Vivian (Janet Hubert) and Uncle Philip Banks (James Avery) have worked hard to secure a very comfortable and sophisticated life for their family. Living in a huge mansion in Bel Air, complete with a pool, tennis courts and a dignified English butler, the Banks are not prepared for the craziness Will brings to their lives.
