Jack & Sarah

Jack (RICHARD GRANT) is juggling the demands of a marriage, a high pressure job and a new house - with a baby on the way - when tragedy strikes. The love of his life, his beautiful, capable and loving wife dies in childbirth. Jack must now face bringing up his baby daughter alone. Scared and refusing to acknowledge his new reality and responsibilities, he embarks on a-drinking binge. Then, one morning he wakes up to find baby Sarah, naked, hungry and vulnerable by his side. As soon as Jack holds the baby in his arms, he experiences the overwhelming joy of fatherhood. With no clothes for Sarah, he makes do with an old sock for a hat, pops her in a large padded envelope and sets out on a shopping spree for all those baby essentials. He has finally faced up to his responsibility as a father.
